Woven Grove Consulting supports public agencies, nonprofits, and values-driven institutions in navigating complexity through a living-systems approach to organizational culture, leadership, and change.
Our work integrates ecological systems thinking, community psychology, liberation-focused practice, and trauma-informed facilitation to help organizations see and tend their cultural ecosystem—the roots, soil, canopy, and relationships that shape collective wellbeing.
Rather than offering one-off trainings or compliance-oriented DEI work, Woven Grove partners long-term with clients to rebuild trust, strengthen communication, develop adaptive leaders, and redesign structures that support flourishing for people, place, and purpose.
My time spent with Liberty was deeply inviting and surrounded with space. They intuitively navigate time together to create a session where you can walk away with new and deeper acceptance or knowledge. We shared a lot in common, and I felt very seen by Liberty in a way that I do not often. They have a deep well of offerings to tailor the time to what you need and want, and it is very moving to have someone bring a new exercise into the healing space and walk you through it based on what they hear. Liberty took time to listen and adjust their approach, and it was always a co-created space.

I'm Liberty Gonzalez (They/Them), founder of Awakening Creatives LLC. Since 2014, I’ve been committed to empowering individuals and organizations to co-create environments where personal and collective transformation can flourish—where liberation, creativity, and thriving aren't just aspirations but lived realities.
I envisioned Awakening Creatives as a queer-led company that partners with visionary leaders, cultural innovators, and values-driven organizations dedicated to dismantling systems of oppression and building equitable, resilient communities.
Inspired by my activism and experience in organizational change, our work addresses pressing global issues—inequity, racism, transphobia, environmental degradation, and the need for interspecies dignity—by guiding you to align your values with your actions, cultivating a life and livelihood that reflect the world you want to see.
Through customized offerings—consulting, coaching, facilitation, educational programs, and speaking engagements—we help you implement strategies that foster equity, belonging, and creative expression within your unique context.
We’re particularly inspired by the concepts of Conscientização, cultivating critical knowledge and consciousness, as well as Convivència, the art of living together in harmony. These concepts inform our approach to cultivating cultures where differences are embraced, and everyone is valued. Nature has this one figured out, we just need to remember our way back.
Our work is grounded in the belief that meaningful change requires both inner work, relational work and systemic transformation.
